About
I'm Nikhilesh Wani — Founder and Director of Elementik Technologies Pvt. Ltd., based in Pune, Maharashtra.
I've spent roughly eight years building Byteseal — a credit-card-sized biometric hardware credential vault that combines fingerprint authentication, BLE connectivity, and AES-256 encryption to give people a physical, self-custodial way to manage digital identity. Three complete R&D cycles have taken it from early concept through hardware design, cryptographic architecture, and go-to-market.
I hold two granted Indian patents, filed as an individual inventor, that underpin Byteseal's core design: a sequenced-biometric, device-bound credential vault that releases stored credentials without the user ever seeing them, and a challenge-response biometric authentication scheme using a One-Time Biometric PIN designed for ATM and PoS use.
Alongside Byteseal, I consult on select projects from time to time — work that keeps me current with the latest technologies and tools, and feeds back into how I build Byteseal. With 8+ years of hands-on engineering across web and mobile, I bring both the technical depth to solve hard problems and the product judgment to know which problems matter.
